I hope everyone had a great 4th of July, even if we were cut short a bit at the pool!  Here are today’s updates:

1. Team Spirit - just a reminder that it means a lot to all divers to have their teammates watching the competition, please plan to come and stay for as much of the meet as possible and remind your kids to pay attention and cheer.  If there is room, they can sit with or near the current event’s divers. Come Friday evening at 6:30pm for the pasta party for some pre-meet spirit.  Bring a dish for 10 to share.

2. Sunday’s Meet - is at Mill Creek Towne, direction click here

Arrive at MCT by 3:15pm, warm ups there will be at 3:30pm.  Patrick and Emma will be at RCP starting at 2pm for warming up, leaving RCP by 2:45pm.  MCT has concessions and lots of parking and shade, so we won’t be bringing our tents.

3. Unfilled jobs for Sunday’s meet - click here to sign up - we still need:

First half - one table worker, one photographer

Second half - two judges, two table workers, one photographer

4. Team Pictures - tomorrow (Saturday July 6) at RCP at 11:45am.  If your child is not attending the swim meet, please remember to come.  We do take a separate dive team photo.  The photographer will also do individual portraits of your kids if you like.  Here is a link to the order form if you want to do it in advance (use Picture Day ID: EVTX4DF83.  Paper forms will be at the front desk tomorrow.

5. Swim and Dive Team end of season Banquet - thanks to Brandy Stacks, mom to rookie diver Morgan, for agreeing to be one of our dive banquet coordinators.  We still need one more - please consider this especially if you have been to a banquet before!  You will work with two swim coordinators.  It’s all been done before and you will recruit helpers to make it happen!

6. In addition to giving a special shout out to Brandy for stepping up, I’d like to give a special shout out to Jenn Fogel and Amy Warren who agreed to learn, on the fly, how to do the job of meet secretary.  Our stalwart meet Secretary, Jen Gootman, was away last week, and they filled in fabulously!  Thank you!
