1. Meets - let us know if you child is coming: Please RSVP here by Wednesday June 15 (this is the homepage, click on RSVP under the Event Merrimack Park). You can RSVP for all the meets throughout the summer if you already know which dates you are away.
Why do you have to RSVP? So that Coach Emma can write dive sheets for the kids who will be attending the meet (and not make them for the kids not coming).
What is a dive sheet? It contains your child's name and age group and the list of dives they will perform at the upcoming meet. They must sign their dive sheet at practice on Thursday or Friday.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week - practices will be at 5pm and 6pm

4. Volunteer jobs - we need all families to sign up to help with meets and running a successful dive season!
Thanks to Sara Duran-Palacios and Peter Gerlach-Mack for stepping up as our concession coordinators and to Reema Aggarwal as one of our dive team banquet coordinators! And thanks to many of you who have already signed up for various other jobs!
On our homepage you can look to the right and see a list of upcoming events (or view all to see the whole season's worth of events). Click on the green button JOB SIGN UP to see what jobs are still available. If the link is no longer there or active, it means that all jobs for that event have been claimed.
For the meet at Merrimack THIS SUNDAY we still need judges, table workers for the second half, photographers and someone to help bring one tent home. All of the jobs are straightforward and we will train you (except judges and refs).

5. Last Judging Clinic
If you would like to train as a judge or if you are already a judge and would like to train as a ref, the last clinic is Thursday evening on zoom. This one is specially designed for brand new judges, but you can attend it even if you need to recertify.
Brand new and don't want to judge in a meet? That's okay, you can go to the clinic anyway. It will teach you a lot about diving. After you are trained many people choose to shadow a more experienced judge for a meet or two or three and when you are ready you can start by judging the first half - the younger kids and simpler dives.
Here is the link for the clinic. It starts at 7pm.

6. Pasta Party
There will be a pasta party this Friday starting at 6:30pm, but I think it's moved to the pavillion. Please bring a dish to share to the pavillion between 6-6:30pm. We don't have any volunteer sign slots, but please do come early or stay late to help. Extra hands make light work. Plates, silverware and cups are provided, but you could reduce waste by bringing your own reusables!

7. Funday Monday - On Mondays after all meets, there will be games at practice and popsicles after practice. If you sign up to bring popsicles, please bring 60 and arrive before 5pm and give your receipt to Katie or Dawn for reimbursement.
