It's a beautiful day for dive practice. Hope to see you at the well.

Here are some updates that you need to know for the coming weeks:

• PRACTICE NEXT WEEK - We have a regular week of practice. Mon-Fri 5:15 and 6:15 pm. If your diver has not picked up their team shirt, they can find us during practice. 
• MONDAY FUNDAY - Please sign up to bring popsicles (40-50) for Monday Fundays. Login to rockcreekdive.swimtopia.com. The divers and coaches have put a moratorium on GoodPop No Sugar Added Popsicles after getting them week after week last summer.
• DIVE CONCESSIONS - Speaking of summer treats, the Dive Team will be running a concessions table to raise extra funds for the team. Divers and their parents can volunteer on Tuessdays and Saturdays to run the table throughout June/July. We'll even be selling a pre-paid punch card. We'll send more information soon!
• DROP DIVE DEADLINE - The deadline to drop dive team and get a refund is Thursday, June 15. Please let us know by Thursday night if your child no longer wishes to participate and we will issue a refund for the $135 registration fee.
• FIRST DIVE MEET - Our first dive meet is next Sunday, June 18, at Rock Creek.
  • Please RSVP at rockcreekdive.swimtopia.com so we can plan accordingly.
  • There will be a pre-meet practice (optional but encouraged) at Rock Creek pool from 2:30-3:30 pm.
  • The meet begins at 4 pm and usually runs about 4 hours. 12 & Under awards are given out mid-way for those who do not want to stay for the entire meet.
  • 12 & Under divers should arrive for warmups no later than 3:15 pm.
  • The order of events is as follows:
    • 8 & Under Girls, 8 & Under Boys
    • 9 - 10 Girls, 9 - 10 Boys
    • 11 - 12 Girls, 11 - 12 Boys
    • 12 & Under Awards
    • 13 - 18 Warm-up
    • 13 - 14 Girls, 13 - 14 Boys
    • 15 - 18 Girls, 15 - 18 Boys
    • 13 & up Awards
  • PARENT VOLUNTEERS - Parent volunteers are needed! We have volunteer spots open for our first meet. Click here to signup to judge, schlep tents, work the scoring table, or take photos. All non-judge jobs can be learned on the spot!
  • BECOME A JUDGE - We need more certified Parent Judges. Visit the website for training dates and talk to Sarah and Dawn at practice to learn more.
  • JUST ASK - For first-time divers and parents - feel free to chat with either of us at practice to get the scoop on dive meets (what to expect, what to bring, etc.).
