Hi all - Congrats to our divers on their victory over Seven Locks on Sunday, even after a thunder delay! Special Congratulations to Jan Imhof who reffed his first meet and to Risa Weinstein and Devorah Walder who announced for the first time! 

Here are details for the coming week in Fins Dive!

2. No Pasta Party - 4th of July

3. Away meet against Merrimac - July 7 @ 5pm - all the details

Practices will be held tomorrow, Thursday at all the normal times - 4:15pm, 5:15pm and 6:15pm. NOTE: there will be no practices on Friday July 4

No Pasta Party - 4th of July - There won't be a pasta party on Friday, July 4. Instead, come out early for the BBQ lunch and stay all afternoon for the games. Pool closes at 5pm.

Away meet at Merrimac - Monday July 7 @5pm

1. Warm-ups - please RSVP to Katie ([email protected]) if your child would come to practice/warm-ups  at Rock Creek from 3:30-4pm. If enough kids are available, Riley will hold warm-ups. Warm-up at Merrimac are from 4:30-5pm. 

2. Car pooling to Merrimac - do you need help getting your kid to Merrimac by 4:30? Do you have extra spots in your car? Please email Rep Sarah Oelke ([email protected]) to let her know if you need a ride or have a ride and she'll coordinate helping kids get there!

3. Parent Volunteers - we have open spots for this meet - 2nd half judges, 1st half table workers (it's easy, we'll teach you!), someone to bring the tent home and and photos for both halves.  

4. Meet photographers - what's involved? You can use your phone, you don't have to be a professional. We try to have pictures of all the kids to use in the banquet slide show. You can take them as the diver is on the board, during the dive, horsing around on the benches. Please email rep, Sara Duran-Palacios ([email protected]) for details on what to do with your photos!
