Hello 2025 Dive Families,
We are excited to announce that registration for the Rock Creek Fins summer Dive Team is OPEN on the Fins website. You will also find additional details about the summer practice and meet schedule and how to sign up to volunteer on our website too.
Registration will be open until Tuesday, June 12 at 11:59pm (noon) and is open to the children of all Equity Member and Waitlist-Summer Swim accounts between the ages of 4 and 18.
Who should join the dive team? Any child who can jump of the board and swim independently to the ladder (not the side). No experience is necessary, our coaches are terrific at working with beginners of all ages to build confidence and skills while having fun!

KEY DATES Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day)
- Welcome meeting for all Dive Team families 5:00pm - 6:00pm at the grill patio
Wednesday, May 27
- First evening practices - come at 5:15pm or 6:15pm to the dive well
- All kids must be registered before they can attend their first practice
Friday, June 5: First Pasta Party

June 12 at 12pm (noon)
- Registration deadline
- Deadline to leave the team and get a refund (less insurance fee)
Sunday, June 14: First Dive Meet at Merrimack Park
Thursday, June 18: Regular season practice schedule starts: 4:15pm, 5:15pm, 6:15pm

VOLUNTEERING
As you register your children to swim, it’s a great time to think about what volunteer roles you would like to take on this summer. Parent volunteers from every family are absolutely essential to running a smooth and fun season for our kids!
There are lots of different jobs available and some can even be filled by middle and high school students looking for SSL hours. Some of the volunteer roles require training in advance of the season, which MCDL provides in late May through mid-June: Judges and Referees.
We will share volunteer roles and descriptions and the dates of judge and ref training with registered families in early May.
